Horizon's ReadOlympics During January 11th - February 11th, HMS students and staff were challenged to read 500,000 pages. Each week, their pages were tallied, and the three home bases that read the most proudly displayed the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals on their doors. On February 12th, an awards ceremony was held in the gym, presenting the three winning home bases with these Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals (along with an extra sweet treat)! Here are the results: Gold Medal: Ms. Frase's Home Base: 42,382 pages Silver Medal: Ms. Lutjen's Home Base: 41,370 pages Bronze Medal: Mr. Ziemann's Home Base: 37,331 pages Total Pages Read: 497,921!
