Horizon Parent Advisory Committee
Dear Horizon Parents"
We welcome all parents/guardians to be a part of their child's education here at Horizon. One opportunity to become involved on the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC). We understand you may not be able to make every meeting-we welcome you for any meeting you can attend. We meet on the first Thursday of each month from noon-1 p.m. in the staff room. Feel free to contact Sherry Heaton, Doug Vanderpan, Jim Kindschi, or any PAC member if you have any questions.
What does PAC do?
*Help raise funds to purchase Activ Boards, Activ Expressions, a student response system allowing voting through text. Soup & Cookie Dough sales, Barnes and Noble Fundraiser, and concessions.
* Monthly Teacher Appreciation - organize and bring bake goods or other food items
*Provide meals for teachers during parent-teacher conferences
*Organize and fund 9th grade Farewell in May
* Husky High Five's - purchase and award prizes for good student behavior
*Help with organization/funding for 8th grade trip to Medora
